Charles Leclerc’s words

Charles Leclerc tried to hide his anger after the Hungarian Grand Prix, which was affected by Ferrari’s strategy errors, admitted even by Binotto, but not only.

“Obviously I’m not happy. The first stint went well, the car had pace and was good on these averages. The second stint was also very good and I was confident driving, asking to go as long as possible. In the end, however, we made a different decision, which was to go on the Hard, and there we lost a lot of time. We will talk with the team to improve.”

“It was not impossible to avoid the Hard tire, but I don’t want to go into detail here. Definitely there will be discussions to improve, because we have to do that. I am fit and loaded anyway, even without the summer break. In this beginning of the season, emotions have gone up and down. There has never been a constant race, something always happens. It’s pretty tiring, but I feel good this year and I’m looking forward to the next Grand Prix. There is regret, I am not happy at all. Again though, we will talk about it with the team,” concluded the Monegasque.
