Juventus between Roberto Firmino and Luis Muriel: the knots on the new striker
The knots to untangle for the new striker are several.
Juventus continues to reason and work on the striker named to support Dusan Vlahovic if Alvaro Morata cannot be brought back to Turin. But there has been no shortage of problems in the last few hours.
Indeed, if lately the suggestion of dressing Roberto Firmino in black and white took hold, now the Brazilian striker himself has turned off the enthusiasm. “I am very happy at Liverpool, and grateful to be able to play at a great club and with great teammates with the possibility of winning many titles. I am fine here and my will is to stay,” he said in an interview for ‘TNT Sport’.
This is precisely why Juventus seems to have decided to tack on another target. It is Atalanta’s Luis Muriel, who, however, is making a big noise for the Colombian. According to ‘Tuttosport,’ in fact, to deprive itself of the striker it has asked for a check of 15 million. The Bianconeri counterproposal would be a loan with right of redemption, or obligation in the presence of certain conditions, but the parties still appear distant. With the Old Lady, however, wanting to untie the knot of a new striker as soon as possible.
