Reporting the news is the Villans’ own official website, which confirms that the 18-year-old was granted permission on Tuesday to leave Birmingham in the direction of London to formalize the deal and undergo the ritual medical examinations.

With just a few days to go before the start of the championship, then, Milan have yet to find the midfield reinforcement they need to replace Franck Kessié, who flew to Barcelona after his contract with the Rossoneri expired. The timetable is really starting to tighten: the Rossoneri will be engaged in the league opener on Saturday, August 13, at home against Udinese.
