Veronese ready to host the World Cup
Endurance riding is known as “the horse marathon”-an equestrian endurance race in the middle of nature. It is a popular sport in the Middle East, with an international circuit making a stop in the province of Verona this year for the 18th FEI Endurance World Championship. The World Championship is scheduled in Isola della Scala from October 19 to 23, and the organization has been entrusted to Veronafiere, through Fieracavalli.
The 160-kilometer course of the FEI Endurance World Championship Verona 2022 takes place for the most part on routes through countryside known for the production of Vialone Nano rice, with a focus on preserving environmental integrity.
The equestrian marathon awaits the world’s best horses and riders for the award of the world title, and the Palariso in Isola della Scala has been chosen as the meeting point for the champions of this discipline, which has owed its fortune to the passion of sheikhs, emirs and kings since the 1990s.
Collaborating in the realization of the event, together with the Verona Fair, are the Municipality and the Isola della Scala Fair Authority and Garda Endurance, united in the promotion of an initiative that represents an opportunity to promote the territory by means of sport and “slow” and sustainable tourism in the saddle.
