Ducati, Jack Miller explain Andrea Dovizioso’s troubles

Jack Miller commented on Andrea Dovizioso’s early retirement.

Ducati centaur Jack Miller at a press conference in Silverstone commented on the early retirement of Andrea Dovizioso, who will leave MotoGp and Yamaha after Misano: “We are talking about a rider who has had a fantastic career, however, stopping for a year and then changing manufacturers trying to start again with a new project is never easy.”

“Surely he will have his reasons for making this decision. In the end, this sport is dangerous, and if you don’t have fun, there is no point in continuing. I fully understand his point of view and wish him the best.”

On the summer break: “For me it was not long enough, I enjoyed my vacation at home, I had a lot of fun, but now I am ready to start again. At Silverstone last year I had a good battle for the podium, and I think with the improvements of the GP22 we should go strong at this track.”
