Aleix Espargaró gritted his teeth in Britain, taking sixth place despite two sore feet.
“The crash was the last thing I needed. I was feeling good on the bike, pushing hard, but the highside was pretty violent. I have a lot of pain and it’s getting worse. Together with the team and doctors, we decided it would be best for me to rest until tomorrow and then evaluate the situation after the warm-up.”
“Obviously I will do everything I can to be on the track but since we are talking about a body part that is very stressed while riding we will have to see if it will be possible,” he concluded by questioning participation in the race.
