Danilo Petrucci finished 20th in his race in Thailand aboard a Suzuki

Danilo Petrucci finished 20th in the MotoGp Grand Prix in Thailand, where he replaced Joan Mir riding a Suzuki. The Terni centaur after the race revealed all his difficulties readjusting to the category, especially with the very difficult conditions of the Buriram track.

“I basically went out blind,” he admitted on Dazn, “Racing without having tested the bike in the wet for one lap was not easy. I didn’t try the setup, we put on Mir’s, which was too soft for me. At the beginning I was going well, but then I started to suffer with the front end, but I’m glad I didn’t finish last.”

On his future: “I have options in America, but we’ll see. Now I’m going on vacation, it was my last day of work for this year, I’m exhausted.”
