Tennis these days is not just being played in America. In the last match of the evening program of the San Marino Open, Matteo Arnaldi (No. 204 in the ATP ranking) continued his march: the eighth seed defeated 6-3 6-4, in one hour and 57 minutes of play, Austrian Lukas Neumayer (No. 347 ATP) coming from the qualifiers.
In the quarters Friday, the 21-year-old from San Remo will face Fabian Marozsan (No. 248 ATP): the Hungarian barred Matteo Gigante.
