Cycling, head injury for Letizia Paternoster: ‘She doesn’t remember anything’
The blue champion was kept in the hospital overnight
Head trauma and fractured right clavicle. That was the medical verdict after Letizia Paternoster crashed at the European Cycling Championships in Monaco. The Italian champion was involved in a fall at 50 mph during the elimination test (she hit her head violently).
As reported by La Repubblica, Federciclismo made it known that Letizia Paternoster has always remained conscious but does not remember anything about the incident. For this reason, she was kept in the hospital overnight. The champion was fitted with a brace to protect her neck and one also to her pelvis.
