Casey Stoner commented on his relationship with Valentino Rossi
Former Ducati and Honda centaur Casey Stoner expressed his relationship with Valentino Rossi, one of his greatest rivals in MotoGp. On the iconic Laguna Seca overtake, the Australian spoke in these terms, “There Valentino showed who he really was, before I didn’t realize what people are capable of doing just to win a race.”
The Doctor taught him a great lesson: “People think that Laguna Seca was the turning point of the season, but for me it was the turning point of my career, because from that moment I told myself that I would no longer worry about thinking about others, that I would only race for myself,” his words to Gazzetta dello Sport.
