MotoGp, Ducati: Pecco Bagnaia sets the record straight ahead of Austria
Bagnaia wants to replicate success at Silverstone
Fresh from his success in the MotoGp class British GP at Silverstone, Pecco Bagnaia has regained his charge and confidence ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring and, more generally, for the continuation of the season.
On the other hand, however, it is the same Bagnaia who says he does not want to rethink his comeback in the standings over Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargaró, who for now are ahead of him by 49 and 27 points, respectively: “At Silverstone we recovered several points but, for now, I do not want to think about the championship – the Ducati rider commented -. I have to stay focused and try, race by race, to get the best possible result.”
“In the last Gp – added Bagnaia – I won an unexpected victory, I think the best of my career. Now we come to Austria, on a track historically favorable to Ducati. We have to see how the new chicane will be, but I am convinced that there are the right conditions to do well. I am ready and excited to race again at the Red Bull Ring.”
