Bari puts the brakes on Palermo, draw at San Nicola

Bari-Palermo 1-1
The much-anticipated second-day Serie B advance between Bari and Palermo ended 1-1.
At the San Nicola, despite a good first half the hosts found themselves trailing in the 37th minute when Valente on an assist from Fiorano put the guests Rosanero ahead. In the second half, however, in the 68th minute, Antenucci served Cheddira the equalizing ball.
Palermo, victorious in its season debut, thus missed the appointment with the encore that would have been worth the full-score lead but still flew to the lone top of the Serie B standings, of course pending all the other matches of the second day. Second draw instead for Bari after the one in the opening round.
