Santopadre on Berrettini-Sinner dualism, with a look ahead to Atp Finals
Santopadre on Berrettini-Sinner dualism.
Matteo Berrettini’s coach Vincenzo Santopadre, in an interview with TennisFever, spoke about the dualism between his player and the South Tyrolean tennis player Jannik Sinner, praising the way in which the two blues live this rivalry: “They have a great understanding, character similarities and also in work culture. They are two guys who esteem and respect each other extremely. I think this complicity of theirs can be helpful for the very young, so that they understand that two colleagues can get along and that a rivalry can be experienced in a good and positive sense.”
Like Sinner, Berrettini is still keeping alive the dream of participating in the Turin 2022 Atp Finals, as confirmed by the Roman coach: “Unfortunately, Matteo has missed so many big tournaments. But there is no resignation, hopes are on and alive, knowing that anyway everything will pass from the results. At the moment we are focused on the first round of the US Open, for the Finals we will see. The only thing we can do is to put 300 percent as always in every tournament and see what happens.”
