Important announcement regarding the future of Formula 1: from 2026, Audi will land in the circus.
The entry of the Four Rings brand was announced at an official press conference on the eve of the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa-Franchorchamps, in which many details were defined.
Markus Deusmann, CEO of Audi, commented on the decision to enter Formula 1 as follows, “Motorsport is an integral part of our DNA, and Formula 1 is both a global stage and an exceptional challenge to experiment with new technologies. With the new regulations coming into effect in 2026, now is the time for Audi to get into the field. After all, both we and Formula 1 have set important goals for sustainability.”
