Piero Bucchi spoke to Nuova Sardegna about his new Dinamo Sassari: “Federico Pasquini presented me with a list of 15-20 names per role, I skimmed based on characteristics, defining a group to focus on until the final choices. Jamal Jones is the one to replace Burnell, good player and good guy who has been very useful to us, but we needed a man who would pair better with Bendzius. As for Chris Dowe, we needed an element that compared to the departing Logan (excellent player, but predominantly a 2) would allow us to play both point guard and point guard, and this allows us to use Gentile primarily at guard.”

“Onuaku is very physical and athletic, making size and energy his strong point. He did very well last year, he can give us a big contribution. Of course something will have to change, it’s up to me to adapt to the characteristics of the players and help them. We will have to be a bit chameleon-like, change skin productively. How?
