F1, Fernando Alonso lashes out: ‘This is not the first time’
Alpine pilot tired of being “broadcast”
His statements, via radio, on the occasion of the contact with Hamilton at the Belgian GP made such an uproar. The Asturian called the Mercedes star (who apologized for the risky move on the track) an idiot.
The Alpine driver wanted to clarify a couple of concepts: “When you talk on the radio it is normally just a comment for your stable. I don’t often complain about others and I don’t spend as much time on the radio. There seems to be a tendency to broadcast my messages on live radio,” his clear words to Sky Sports F1. Now the ball is in the F1 management’s court.
