Max Verstappen won the bizarre challenge with Tsunoda organized by Red Bull
Max Verstappen won the bizarre challenge with Yuki Tsunoda organized by Red Bull at the Zandvoort track, where the Dutch Grand Prix will be held next weekend.
The world champion driver beat the Japanese AlphaTauri driver by backtracking through an ad hoc course carved out of the Dutch track, consisting of two chicanes and a 180-degree hairpin turn: both drivers competed at the wheel of two Volvo Daf 66s. Tsunoda went straight into the barriers at the first chicane during qualifying, then in the race Verstappen came out on top without any particular problems.
