From Germany, è came a relevant confirmation regarding Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari starting next season. According to reports from Bild, during a meeting held at the company’s headquarters in Brackley, England, Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff reportedly confirmed the British driver’s move to Maranello starting in 2025, addressing his team’s employees.

Bild also reports a summary of Wolff’s speech to Mercedes employees, pointing out that negotiations between Hamilton and Ferrari are now in an advanced state, although the signing of the contract has not yet taken place. The actual announcement however could come soon.

According to unofficial sources, the official announcement of the agreement between Scuderia Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton in fact should be made by the end of this week, with the seven-time world champion then racing in 2024 knowing already that he will leave Mercedes.
