US Open, Jannik Sinner ok but with a chill
Jannik Sinner made it to the second round of the US Open not without some difficulties. The Italian managed to bend Daniel Altmaier only in the fifth set, ending the match with a score of 5-7 6-2 6-1 3-6 6-1.
In the first set the German was very good and made very few mistakes, then the San Candido champion took measures and closed the second fraction on 6-2. Without too much difficulty also the third set, dominated by Sinner 6-2. Different story the fourth set: with an immense effort Altmaier managed to put his opponent in trouble but fatigue took over in the last act and Sinner took great advantage.
