Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe restarts: appointment in Hockenheim for Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi is back behind the wheel of the WRT team’s Audi: the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe championship restarts in Hockenheim after the summer break following the Spa 24 Hours. “It’s time to get back on track, I’m happy to race in Hockenheim and in a three-hour race,” explained the driver from Tavullia.

“We did a test here in the winter, with bad weather, and we understood that the car here goes well. It’s a difficult track, with tight corners and heavy braking: with Fred and Nico we will try to understand our performance level to get our best result.”

The goal, which has so far always eluded the Doctor’s team this year, is to finish on the podium. Thus Frederic Vervisch, the teammate: “It’s good to be back on track in an Endurance race. Our last race was good, and we hope to progress further and maybe get our first podium.”
