In Turkey, it is still soccer market time.
Local clubs have until September 8 to buy players, and Galatasaray in particular is looking for a striker to complete its roster.
The Giallorossi are taking a close look at the redundancies of the big names and the names circulating are those of Mauro Icardi and Memphis Depay.
The former, separated at home at Psg, has so far turned down all the proposals that have come his way but risks spending at least (another) six months watching, while the Dutchman after being close to Juventus has remained at Barcelona, where he does not, however, fit into Xavi’s plans.
