US Open, Jannik Sinner dominates Brendon Nakashima and flies to the round of 16
The South Tyrolean loses the first set, then changes pace
Italy smiles: Sinner won a pass to the US Open round of 16. The Italian got rid of Nakashima in four sets. After losing the first set (6-3), the Italian changed pace and became the master of the match (his ground game was excellent): 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 were the partials with which he won the match, confirming his clear superiority.
The South Tyrolean will now face Ivashka, who eliminated the other Italian Musetti. The Belarusian, No. 76 in the world, showed very concrete tennis, managing to block the Italian’s game. The match was won by Ivashka in four sets: 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. A decidedly bitter defeat for the young Musetti who, until now, had played an outstanding tournament.
