Antonio Locatelli recounts the Airoh epic.

A few weeks before the start of one of the most important motocross competitions on the international scene, some AIROH riders visited the headquarters of the Bergamo-based company. On this occasion, accompanied by founder Antonio Locatelli, they were able to discover how the helmets that accompany them during training and competitive engagements are created. Among the riders present were Cairoli, Guadagnini, Adamo and Forato; also with them were Prado, Langenfelder and Everts. Connected from overseas was Marvin Musquin.

“The idea of creating Airoh was born in 1997,” Locatelli told Sportal.it. “I have always had a great passion for motorcycles and from the very beginning I was very aware of the importance of safety. And right from the start, precisely because of this, we equipped ourselves with a laboratory to carry out testing.”

“The mission has always been very clear: to create and produce helmets of high quality, as well as synonymous with safety, design and performance. Models designed to meet the needs of the best riders internationally, but also those of all motorcycling enthusiasts who use them on asphalt, on the track, on mud and sand, in the waves, in the snow and on any other rideable surface,” the entrepreneur added. Over the years, the company’s DNA has been transformed without ever forgetting its origins, its values and the great passion for racing, and not only that, which has always brought important goals, as demonstrated by the company’s palmares that, from 2005 to today, boasts the beauty of 119 world titles.”
