Matteo Berrettini doesn’t fear the Spaniard: “I’ve already beaten him, and so have Sinner and Musetti.”
Matteo Berrettini in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport spoke about the new king of tennis Carlos Alcaraz, number one in the ATP rankings at just 19 years old and fresh winner of the Us Open: “He is an extraordinary athlete, with crazy skills.”
“However, I would like to remind you that in New York Jannik Sinner had match points against Carlos and he already beat him, as I already beat him and also Musetti,” the Italian noted. “Surely Alcaraz is a phenomenon with physical and technical qualities of the highest level, but we are also and strong and we have a beautiful future ahead.
