MotoGp, rider market: surprise decision by Honda

Honda has decided to confirm Takaaki Nakagami for another MotoGp season.

Takaaki Nakagami will be a Honda rider again in 2023, for the sixth year in a row. The Japanese stable against the odds has decided to confirm the Japanese centaur, this year in great difficulty like all the brand’s riders, in the LCR satellite team: he will pair with Alex Rins.

“I am very happy to be able to continue racing in MotoGP in 2023 with LCR Honda IDEMITSU. I would like to thank IDEMITSU and Honda HRC for their continued support. I am looking forward to next season and I will give is all to get the best results with the team, in the meantime, for the rest of this season, I will continue to work hard to improve my performance,” are the words of Nakagami, who has only managed to finish in the top ten on three occasions this season.
