Olimpia Milano prepares for two level-headed friendlies
Two level friendly matches for the Milanese team
Olimpia returns to the court four days after the Cagliari tournament against Varese, which, moreover, had been its opponent already in Sardinia in the semifinals (111-86 for the meneghini). It takes the court at 8 p.m. in Desio and the contest awards the traditional Trofeo Lombardia.
The roster will be roughly the same as the last outing in Cagliari, that is, with eight absentees, the seven players committed to the European Championships and Shavon Shields, who is recovering from the left foot injury suffered in Cagliari against Varese.
Vladimir Jankovic and Mateusz Kostrewski will complete the roster while Adam Kemp has joined his new team in Hungary. Obviously, the team will be directed by Coach Ettore Messina who has returned from his quick American trip and has already coached the team in this week’s sessions.
Olimpia will also take the court 48 hours later in Vigevano (at 6:30 p.m., the two-way ball) against Pesaro. These two friendlies basically close the first part of the preseason
