MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia is not surprised by Marc Marquez
The Ducati rider is not surprised
Ducatista Pecco Bagnaia, finished the first day of free practice at the Aragon circuit in fifth place. The Italian rider did not push for performance, but was more focused on clarifying the situation regarding tires.
At the end of the last session on Friday, September 16, the Ducati centaur spoke to the media present, saying he was not surprised by the positive return of Marc Marquez: “Everyone can have his own point of view. I can agree or disagree, but I don’t think we are all jugs here. We are at the highest level that exists and we work our asses off every time to be able to be the fastest. You should not be amazed by what Marc did, because he is not a baker who comes here and does a race for the first time.”
In fact, the eight-time world champion ended the day with a good eighth place. “He’s always been very strong, so it was to be expected that Marc would come back like this, because he’s always been a reference point in the last few years. So it is right that there is so much hype behind this, however, I experienced it as a normal day on his part, because I would have expected this,” Bagnaia continued.
