Opposite moods in the Mooney VR46 house

Completely different Saturday, in terms of performance and moods at the end of the day, for Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, the two MotoGp riders of the Mooney VR46 team.

Valentino Rossi’s brother, who will start fourteenth (just behind the returning Marc Marquez) did not hide his dissatisfaction to the official channels of the team founded by the ‘Doctor’: “It’s incredible how it can change the course of a weekend in such a short time – he said -. This morning we failed to hit Q2, we had a good potential to be able to be in the second, third row, but in the first qualifying session the yellow flags prevented me from improving my time. We will start from the back of the pack tomorrow, we will try to do our best to catch up and get closer to the leaders.”

Definitely happy, however, Marco Bezzecchi, who will start from seventh place: “Compared to yesterday, it went definitely well and I’m happy. We did a good job with the team and today, already from FP3, we managed to make a good step forward. Even on the pace I’m feeling good, just a pity for the crash in FP4 right near qualifying. In Q2 I gave it my all, I tried hard and I’m looking forward to the race.”
