Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia confesses, “I didn’t feel like it.”
Pecco Bagnaia explains the final duel with Bastianini: “On the last lap I didn’t want to risk anymore.”
Pecco Bagnaia sees his streak of consecutive victories in MotoGp come to an end, but he is nevertheless very satisfied with his second place in Aragon, which allows him to move just 10 points behind Fabio Quartararo, who fell immediately at the start of the race in Spain.
The Ducati rider commented on the duel with Enea Bastianini as follows, “No doubt it went great, I did my best in my race. Enea on the last lap I felt like he had more traction. I did an incredible job, but he was also very competitive all weekend.”
The Piedmontese rider decided not to take any risks: “I tried to do my best and on the last lap I didn’t feel I was able to overtake Enea. I had already taken too many risks in the previous laps, however it’s good to be 10 points behind the leader of the World Championship.”
