VR46, only smiles for Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi
In Aragon, Valentino Rossi’s brother finishes seventh after a good comeback, Bezzecchi tenth
Both Mooney VR46 Racing Team riders finished in the top ten in the Aragon Grand Prix: Luca Marini finished seventh, while Marco Bezzecchi was tenth. “I am super happy with this very positive result collected right in the first of three consecutive transfers – are the words of Marini -. I went strong, signed the new record lap in the race and hit a nice P7.”
“Considering that we are in Aragon, a track that is always a bit hostile for me, I can only be satisfied. Too bad only for the start, at the beginning in the brawl I lost ground, I tried to close the gap. I had a good feeling, especially out of the slipstream, while in the group I often lost the front end. I am growing as a person and as a rider, with the team, David, Dani, Idalio and all the others we did a great job and I am sure we will do well in Japan.”
Bezzecchi’s satisfaction: “A good race and another Top10, I’m happy. I had a good sprint at the start, but immediately at Turn 1, I got stuck between two riders and lost a lot of ground. Also in the crashes of Quartararo and Nakagami I was close and I was forced to give up positions not to fall. I tried then, kept a good pace and I’m also happy in light of the trips ahead in the coming weeks.”
