Nyck De Vries after winning his first points on his Formula 1 debut dreams of a new chance.
“I don’t think I have a choice, because things are still largely out of my control,” he said during the Dutch television program Humberto. “I’ve been in talks with Williams for a long time and I debuted there, so it could be a logical step. I have been talking with Alpine since July, and I will also do a test in Budapest next week. As the media has already noted, I was in Austria last week to meet with Dr. Marko and talk with him about the future. These are the facts at the moment. Wherever I manage to get a place, I will be very happy, but now we have to see how the situation develops in the coming days or weeks.”
