Marc Marquez: Casey Stoner unabashedly tongue-in-cheek
Former Honda and Ducati rider Casey Stoner spares no stylistic remarks toward the Catalan
Former Honda and Ducati centaur Casey Stoner in an interview with the In The Fast Lane podcast spared no stylistic remarks against eight-time world champion Marc Marquez, who returned to MotoGp racing in Aragon after a long stop: “His real problem is more mental than physical.”
“For years I have been riding with a shoulder in a delicate state, not as delicate as Marc Marquez’s, but when you have certain problems you have to find a way to revise yourself,” are the Australian rider’s words. “Marquez will have to reinvent himself and he will have to change his way of riding. He has to think differently.”
“Throughout my career I have learned to be fast but with less risk and that usually made me perform better. Marc will have to learn to ride differently and put his body in a different position when he attacks the corner, maybe brake a little earlier, apply less pressure under braking when you start going in, so many things. He has to adapt to the current situation,” the two-time world champion concluded.
