Marc Marquez getting closer to Ducati: there'è a first date

Marc Marquez è very close to a move to a Ducati team. According to As reports, an agreement in principle has already been reached between the Catalan rider and Team Gresini for his move to Ducati’s satellite team next season, alongside his brother Alex.

A move that would represent a real snub for Honda, which has a contract with the eight-time world champion until the end of 2024. All of the Catalan’s main sponsors would also be ready to switch from HRC to Team Gresini.

Also according to the Spanish newspaper, the announcement could come within "two or three Gp". Contacts between the two parties have been confirmed and very few details would be missing to make it all concrete.

Gresini team executive Carlo Merlini opened to the possibility: "If Marquez or Mir were available for us, Gresini Racing would like them".
