The European champion women’s national team has reached Arnhem, the Dutch city that will host all the first matches of the 24 teams involved in the 2022 World Championship, in addition to the pool A and D rounds of the first phase. Davide Mazzanti’s Azzura women’s team, who left in the afternoon from Fiuminicino on a flight to Amsterdam, will undergo their first day of work in the Netherlands tomorrow: a weights session in the morning and ball training in the afternoon.

Italy’s debut is scheduled for Saturday, September 24, against the Cameroonian team (3 p.m.).
