MotoGp, Enea Bastianini is clear on team orders
Enea Bastianini still believes in the World Championship
Enea Bastianini spoke at the press conference on the eve of the weekend at Japan’s Motegi circuit.
The Team Gresini rider returned to the victory in Aragon: “I am very happy for my last weekend in Aragon, it was probably one of the best of my life. Now we are here in Motegi, a beautiful track with lots of hard braking as I like it. Unfortunately, though, I have never ridden a MotoGp here, so it will be important to be fast right away for qualifying.”
On the possibility of winning the World Championship he then commented, “I have very little chance of winning the World Championship, we will see what happens in the future. The important thing is to have races done well, like in Misano and Aragon. After the summer break I made a good step forward, from the beginning of the weekend, this is very important for us. I try to give my best every week to be competitive in the championship.”
Finally Bastianini concluded by giving his opinion on the orders from the team: “Team orders in favor of Bagnaia? For now it’s going very well, in Misano things went very well. I have very little chance of winning the World Championship, but a chance is there. I always have to give 100 percent in the race for that small chance. In the last part of the championship we’ll see if I get any orders from the team, it’s something I’m not particularly worried about.”
