MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia is adamant: “I do not need help to win”
The Ducati rider is adamant
Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia, spoke in the press conference ahead of the Motegi Grand Prix.
The centaur wanted to clarify the talk about team orders: “I do not need help to stay in front, I prefer to win on the track, rather than win because someone makes me pass. However, it is not my decision, I explained what my desire is, which is to do what I can do. Later if they decide otherwise, it is not up to me. I will try to go hard, to stay in front and win: that is my goal.”
“I’m not thinking too much about the World Championship, because five races are a lot and everything can still change. I just try to do my job well,” Bagnaia continued.
Finally, the Borgo Panigale factory rider had his say on the Japanese Motegi circuit, “Ducati is the bike to beat, it is the most complete bike. Motegi is good for us, but let’s remember that in Austria we saw that someone was able to be faster than us. I am very happy to be in Motegi, it is one of my favorite tracks just because of the way it is built. Today the conditions are completely different than in 2019, I was a rookie then. The track suits Ducati well, I think we can be competitive.”
