MotoGp, Aprilia warns Ducati about ‘teamwork’
Aprilia team manager Rivola sends message to Ducati: “I hope all teams do their job.”
With the Japanese Grand Prix the great final sprint for the MotoGp title begins: in the fight for the World Championship, in addition to Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo and Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia, there is also Aprilia centaur Aleix Espargaró.
And it was precisely from the Noale stable that a warning came to Ducati, tempted by team play among the eight riders currently on the grid to favor Bagnaia. “Inside your team you can somehow manage the riders, but outside the team they are not your riders. I mean, they are riders from a different team. So I expect all the teams to do their job,” is the clear message from Aprilia team manager Rivola.
“I don’t know what contracts each rider has,” Rivola continued, “but I expect all the teams to do their own race. I, if there is a chance I will ask Maverick to let Aleix pass, that one for sure. As I think Ducati will ask Jack to do the same,” are the words reported Formulapassion.
