The midfielder starts again at Modena

Modena has made official the arrival of midfielder Andrea Poli, former Inter, Milan and Bologna among others.

“Midfielder Andrea Poli is officially a player of Modena F.C. The whole procedure regarding the signing of the player born in 1989 has been completed. The new Gialloblù has signed an agreement until June 30, 2023. President Carlo Rivetti and the whole club welcome Andrea happy that this day coincides with his 33rd birthday: best wishes for a happy Modena,” reads the note from the Gialloblù club.

The player, who was free for the first time in his career, explained the reasons for the decision to join Attilio Tesser’s team in the presentation press conference: “I need stimulation and to have an environment that gives me the joy of playing soccer and I am here for that.”

“I’m here to make a contribution to the team, which can be called in crisis if we look at the standings, but which has always made the performance, in all the matches I have seen. The group is there and soon I want to give my all for Modena: I have always lived soccer this way, since I was a child. Now I add experience to it, which I put at the disposal of my younger teammates,” continued the 1989-year-old.
