Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia: “Hard to maintain concentration, I asked not to know anything about Quartararo’s position”

Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia at Sky’s microphones went over his race in Thailand, starting with the scare he had before the start, when a person on the grid felt sick right in front of him. “Honestly, it was not easy to keep my concentration on the grid because of what happened with the sickness of a person in front of me. At first I was trying not to look and trying to try to concentrate, but it was quite difficult.”

Never comfortable in the wet in his career, the Piedmontese driver managed to score a third place that is worth its weight in gold: “I asked last race and in this one not to have reports on Fabio Quartararo’s race. From now on it will be different because we are only 2 points behind, but in this GP I explicitly asked not to have any information about it. I needed to focus on just riding. I gave everything I had, yesterday after qualifying I felt some tension, but fortunately the people who love me gave me a big hand, and I want to thank everyone.”
