Paolo Lorenzi, as tournament director, spoke about Jannik Sinner’s still-in-doubt participation, “He got injured on Saturday in Sofia and was forced to cancel from Astana. It will be an important opportunity for Jannik and Matteo to earn points towards the Atp Finals and for Nardi, Maestrelli and Passaro to qualify for the Next Gen Atp Finals.”
