Valentino Rossi on Monday lapped the track in a BMW M4 GT3 ahead of the upcoming season
Valentino Rossi lapped for the first time Monday in Barcelona behind the wheel of a BMW M4 GT3, the WRT team’s car for next season after its historic farewell to Audi. Early indications were positive for the Doctor, who will remain with the Belgian team again in 2023 to participate in the GT World Challenge Europe, strong with an extra year of experience.
“It was a first launch, it was about getting to know the vehicle and understanding how we can work with it,” said WRT team boss Vincent Vosse. “It is clear that the BMW M4 GT3 is something completely different from what we have been working with so far,” are the words taken from Speedweek.
