Spal has announced the renewal of Salvatore Esposito
Spal, on Wednesday, Oct. 5, announced that it has reached an agreement for the renewal of class 2000 midfielder Salvatore Esposito.
“S.P.A.L. communicates that it has extended the sporting relationship with midfielder Salvatore Esposito until June 30, 2025,” reads the note from the Estense club.
“Born in Castellammare di Stabia on Oct. 7, 2000 and raised in the youth sector of Inter, Esposito joined the biancazzurro club in the 2017/2018 season where he played two Primavera 2 Championships, for a total of 24 appearances and 6 goals. In January 2019 he lived his first experience in the professional ranks with Ravenna F.C., while in the following season he went on loan in Serie B to ChievoVerona with whom he reached the playoff semifinals, putting together 41 appearances and 1 goal. In 2020/2021 he returned to Ferrara, where he carved out an increasingly starring role in the Spallino midfield becoming, after 70 appearances and 8 goals in two seasons, the captain of the biancazzurra formation. After almost 30 appearances among the various Azzurri youth teams, on June 11, 2022 Esposito makes his debut with the senior Italian national team in the UEFA Nations League match against England,” the statement from the Emilia club continues.
