Juventus, shingle for one of Max Allegri’s loyalists
Tegola for the coach of the bianconeri.
Juventus reared its head again in the Champions League with a 3-1 Allianz Stadium win at Maccabi Haifa.
For Massimiliano Allegri, however, there is also bad news: in fact, Mattia De Sciglio left at halftime of the match against the Israelis, replaced by Alex Sandro, due to discomfort in his right thigh.
On Thursday, October 6, the Bianconeri club announced the condition of the Italian full-back.
“The diagnostic investigations to which Mattia De Sciglio underwent this morning at J|Medical revealed a medium-degree injury of the rectus femoris of the right thigh. In 10 days he will undergo a new control to define the exact prognosis,” reads the note released by Juventus.
Allegri may therefore have to do without the former Milan player until 2023, when he returns from the World Cup break in Qatar.
