The former Inter Milan player is the new coach of Sampdoria
After the exoneration of Marco Giampaolo, Sampdoria has chosen who will be the new coach.
In fact, the blucerchiato club announced that it has reached an agreement with Serbian coach and former Inter player among others, Dejan Stankovic.
“U.C. Sampdoria welcomes Dejan Stankovic as head coach of the first team until June 30, 2023 with option until June 30, 2024. To the coach and his staff a good job and sincere good luck from President Marco Lanna, the Board of Directors and the whole company,” reads the note released by the Genoa-based club.
The former midfielder, for the past three seasons, occupied the bench of the Serbian club Red Star.
