Tragic flooding doesn’t stop the Marche Rally.

The 15th Rally delle Marche, originally scheduled for Oct. 14 and 15 and postponed to a date to be determined, has found its new time slot on the calendar, going to Nov. 12 and 13, again in Cingoli (Macerata), its historic “venue.” A change in the schedule made necessary because of the significant difficulties created in the Marche region by the recent floods, with severe criticality and safety problems in the Marche region, thus also in the places where the race is scheduled.

So, the fifth and penultimate round of the season of the Italian Rally Terra Championship, included in the calendar together with the first Baja of Marche, will take place regularly in the territory of Cingoli with upstream a great work of synergy between PRS Group and the Municipal Administration of Cingoli, having had to redesign in large part the route originally planned, an action that goes to ensure to the Italian Championship on earth its regular continuity and balance.

“The problems triggered by the floods as well as serious damage to the territory, the economy, agriculture and having created mourning for the population, risked not having the race organized, the problems in the Marche region were many, they are in front of everyone’s eyes. Fortunately the situation has been contained thanks to the great work on the affected areas, in our case the collaboration with the Municipality of Cingoli, which cares about the race in a special way, has given the hoped-for effects, we had to work to redo the design of the race for half of what was the original design. I really thank the municipality of Cingoli and also Cupramontana, along with the whole territory for the support they gave us,” comments Oriano Agostini of PRS GROUP.
