Pisa, Luca D’Angelo clears doubts about Ernesto Torregrossa
For the challenge against Parma, scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m., Pisa will not be able to count on Ernesto Torregrossa. This was confirmed by Luca D’Angelo in a press conference, “As for Masucci and Torregrossa, they will not be summoned, we have to wait until next week when they should return. They are two experienced players who can handle themselves from a physical point of view, it is useless to risk to recover them immediately and lose them for a long time. Ionita, on the other hand, is back and can start from the beginning.”
With the Crusaders it will not be an easy challenge: “This is a very important team, with a strong tradition, it will not be easy for us although we have a chance to put them in trouble. I don’t think the absence of any player will determine the change of form by Parma, which remains an important team in this category.”
“The victory with Perugia was important in many ways, but the team does not sit on its laurels because it knows that every week there is an important challenge waiting for it. I prefer teams that line up in a zone even on loose balls, but there is no fixed rule, form or defensive type that gives regardless the security of a positive result. We work on two situations and we will see which one will be better for tomorrow’s match.”
“For sure there will be a good crowd tomorrow and it will be exciting for me to return to the bench in the Arena. In these months if there is something I have learned it is that you have to go beyond wins or defeats,” D’Angelo concluded.
