Filippo Ganna has completed another feat, perhaps even the greatest in an already stellar career.
In Grenchen, Switzerland, the Piedmontese Ineos Grenadiers went for the Hour Record, crushing the previous record with 56.792 km/h.
Just to make the point, Ganna did one minute better than Daniel Bigham, who had managed to stamp the new record just a few weeks ago.
Not only that, Ganna also erased the unofficial record of Chris Boardman, who in September 1996 stamped a 56.375 km in Manchester, which was later canceled due to non-regulation cycling.
