Red Bull driver Max Verstappen enjoys his second title in a row
Max Verstappen, Formula 1 world champion for the second year in a row, in post-race interviews expressed his joy at his victory in Japan in complicated conditions, “I am very happy that we were able to race at the end. It was raining hard and it was difficult to drive, but fortunately we did a good number of laps and the car was flying, even on intermediate tires.”
“I’m very happy to have won here and to see the fans who stayed in the stands,” the Dutchman continued. “It was getting dark at the end, but I’m really glad I was able to race. To win the title here is incredible.”
