Iga Swiatek’s heart of gold: the tennis player, who came out defeated in three sets at the hands of Barbora Krejcikova in the final of the WTA 500 in Ostrava, decided to donate the entire tournament prize money to a Polish nonprofit mental health organization.

“I really wanted to play a great tournament here because I wanted a big prize to have to donate to charity and I’m really happy that I was able to do that. I really want to spread awareness and let people know that they can count on this kind of support. I am honored to be able to convey my image for this purpose,” Swiatek said. Eurosport reports.
