Paul George put his ego aside for the sake of the Los Angeles Clippers. Regarding the controversy over who was the true leader of the team, the All Star made it clear: “Kawhi (Leonard) is No. 1 and I’m perfectly fine with that. I want to help him,” his words reported by ESPN.
The 32-year-old former OKC player added, “I’ll say it publicly: I’m No. 2. I’m in my 12th year in the NBA, he’s in his 13th…. We’ve been through this before. We have a very genuine relationship. I think we will go a long way if everyone knows their role within the team.” In short, Paul George is ready to sacrifice himself to try to take Kawhi Leonard’s Los Angeles Clippers to heaven.
